FACILITATOR'S GATHERING FEBRUARY 7, 2026
Spiritual Formation through Reading and Discussing Books by Contemplatives
As suggested at our last facilitators gathering, we are inviting facilitators and other Centering Prayer group members to highlight contemplative books that their groups have read and discussed and would recommend to other groups.
Whether you are a facilitator or a group member, we hope you'll join us to learn about the wealth of books and other resources that we can use to encourage and inspire the contemplative practices of our group members.

An Advent Quiet Morning
OPEN HEARTS AND OPEN HANDS

10 AM ~ 12 noon
Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church
The Chapel
101 Fairpoint, Gulf Breeze
Contemplative Outreach of Pensacola invites you to an Advent morning of quiet contemplation as we share two periods of Centering Prayer and three segments of silent reflection. May we begin living Advent with “Open Hearts and Open Hands,” open to receiving and giving.
Fr. Bob Graves, beloved Christ Church Episcopal priest and teacher, will turn our attention to personal questions that arise from scripture and then guide us in discovering and journaling our thoughts, which Fr. Bob affirms, “are to be treasured.”
Bring a journal, notebook, or notepad and a pen for recording.
Plan to arrive early, entering the Chapel in silence and being seated by 9:50.
All are welcome.

“Each feast of the Liturgical Year is both an event to be celebrated and a grace to be received.
To know that Christ is all in all and to know his Spirit,
the ongoing promise of the Father-this is the grace of Pentecost.”
